Objective
The Software Development Process will
help customers receive high quality software in a reasonable time.
Method
The Software
Development Process is a structured process allowing us to meet the
needs of our clients. The Requirements, Design, Development, Test and
Review stages allow for clear and thorough communication between our
clients and our development team. The Requirements stage is where the
development team meets with the clients to understand exactly what is
desired and draft the Requirements Document. The Design stage is
where the development team reviews the Requirements Document and based
on their expertise, create the Design Document. The Design Document
describes how the application or system will be implemented and may
contain some sample sketches of the User Interface (UI). Once the
client has agreed to the design, as specified in the Design Document,
development begins. The Development Stage is where the development
team creates what is specified in the Design Document. The Testing
Stage begins when the development is complete. In the Testing Stage,
the testing team examines the application or system. Any errors that
are found are corrected and tested again. Once the software is
“stable” the development team goes through and reviews it with the
customer and completes the Software Development Process.
